Legal Assistant - Restructuring & Insolvency
The Role: You will play a critical part in supporting a senior partner and their team within a highly regarded Restructuring & Insolvency practice. This role offers the perfect blend of autonomy and team collaboration, with a focus on billing, diary and matter management, and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver proactive and reliable admin and secretarial support to a senior partner and their team
- Take ownership of complex diary management, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements
- Handle monthly billing and client reporting processes, including preparation of pre-bills and account reconciliation
- Oversee matter lifecycles from file opening to closure, ensuring records are kept up to date
- Perform internal conflict checks and assist with the preparation of compliance documentation
- Monitor team expenses and support with accurate billing using internal systems
- Support practice-wide quality and risk processes, ensuring procedures are met and maintained
- Work collaboratively across the team to ensure operational efficiency and smooth workflow
- Proven experience in a legal assistant or high-level administrative role
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
- Proactive, professional, and confident when liaising with stakeholders
- Able to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
