Mid Weight FF&E Designer - Hospitality Projects
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and present FF&E concepts aligned with the creative direction and project narrative.
- Source and specify furniture, lighting, fabrics, accessories, and finishes appropriate for luxury hospitality environments.
- Prepare detailed FF&E schedules, specification sheets, and mood boards for client presentations and internal use.
- Manage procurement packages, liaising with suppliers, fabricators, and purchasing agents.
- Coordinate with the internal design team to ensure seamless integration of FF&E with architectural and interior design elements.
- Attend project meetings and site visits (as needed) to oversee FF&E installation and ensure design integrity is maintained.
- Research and maintain an up-to-date knowledge of materials, trends, and suppliers in the high-end hospitality sector.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong previous experience in a similar FF&E role, preferably within the luxury hospitality, high-end residential, or boutique commercial sectors.
- Strong conceptual and design development skills with an excellent eye for colour, texture, and composition.
- Proven experience delivering full FF&E packages from concept through to installation.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Excel, and SketchUp or similar 3D visualisation tools.
- Solid understanding of materials, finishes, fabrication techniques, and production lead times.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills.
