Hourly Rate: $50.00

Are you someone with an eye for detail, strong Excel skills, and a genuine interest in product safety and compliance? We’re recruiting a Product Compliance Specialist to join a high-performing APAC-focused team during a critical phase of regulatory activity and product certification.
This is a new role within the business where you’ll help manage documentation, ensure ongoing compliance across a broad product range, and assist in future certification and testing activity for a global home appliance manufacturer.
 
You’ll be doing things like:
  • Reviewing, organising, and digitising product compliance documentation by category (e.g. test reports, material certifications, Declarations of Conformity)
  • Interpreting standards and regulatory schemes including WELS(Water Efficiency Labelling and Standards), EESS(Electrical Equipment Safety System), GEMS(energy efficiency), and electrical safety requirements
  • Supporting the certification and re-certification of new and existing products by liaising with global stakeholders and certification bodies
  • Communicating with regional team members (especially in Thailand and the US) to track down and update compliance-related materials
  • Managing compliance-related data using Excel (advanced level) and working within internal tools such as SAP (no prior SAP experience required)
  • Learning to assess risks, gaps, and documentation needs through exposure to live standards and hands-on examples
  • Assisting in streamlining processes to organise documentation by product type and regulatory requirement
What we’re looking for:
  • Someone that has experience in the same or similar role
  • A background or exposure to engineering, product testing, or regulatory compliance
  • Someone with the right attitude – curious, methodical, and genuinely interested in product compliance
  • Advanced Excel and documentation skills
  • Experience with Australian/New Zealand product standards is a bonus
  • You’re organised, detail-focused, and capable of thriving in a desk-based, documentation-heavy role
  • MUST HAVE Full-Time and Unrestricted Working Rights for Australia
