Meet Brownie
Breed: GSP/Vizsla/Chocolate Lab cross
Barking from: Christchurch
What's up dog?
Brownie joined our design studio at just four months old and has since risen to the esteemed position of Head of Security. Ironically, she's terrible at her job because she's so sweet to everyone she meets. From the moment anyone steps into the office, Brownie is there to greet them with a rapidly wagging tail and a beaming smile at the top of the stairs, setting a positive tone for the day.
Throughout the day, Brownie makes her rounds, ensuring that everyone at their desks feels appreciated. Her unique way of checking in ”a gentle elbow lick” has become a cherished ritual. It's her special way of reminding us to take a break and smile, even during the busiest of days.
Brownie's contributions don't end there. She's incredibly talkative (literally) and always eager to join in on meetings and brainstorming sessions. If you don't stop her, she will keep on chatting away. Her presence is often the spark of joy and creativity we need. As soon as a group gathers, you can count on Brownie to be right in the middle, lying upside down on the floor”stretching out like a big long log ready to offer her support in her own delightful way.
Every morning at 9:15 a.m., Brownie goes on a date with her vizsla boyfriend, who comes to pick her up. You can hear him howling from the car park, and Brownie becomes ecstatic, sprinting down the stairs to meet him. There was a time when her boyfriend was away for two weeks, and she faithfully sat by the window overlooking the car park every morning, crying and sighing heavily.
Brownie has a remarkable ability to bring people together and elevate the office mood. Her playful spirit, combined with her genuine affection for everyone she meets, makes her an irreplaceable member of our team. Clients love her! Brownie doesn't just work alongside us; she works with us, making every day in the office a little brighter and a lot more fun.
