Meet Cooper
Breed: Collie X
Barking from: Wanganui
What's up dog?
Cooper came to me through our local animal control as maybe an Agility or Obedience Dog and did I know of anyone looking. I went had a look and fall for him instantly.
Cooper was nicknamed the “Castlecliff Special” as that’s the area he was picked up from.
Soon realised he had more to offer than being “just a dog/pet”, but a Companion /Therapy dog.
So cooper now works for Canine Friends so visits rest homes, Reads with Children and also comes with me to my appointments where possible.
Cooper also goes to town and allows people to pat him or just stop to have a chat. The smiles on their faces are so rewarding.
Cooper is also learning how to do obedience as a sport and then go onto CGC (Canine Good Citizen) through our local Dog Training Club.
Cooper lives with two other furry buddies (dogs). And two humans and has two little humans come visit regularly.
