Meet Harlow
Breed: Staffy Cross Doberman
Barking from: Auckland
What's up dog?
Woof, my name is Harlow. I am an office dog at Rentokil Initial in Auckland city. I'm not your average office dog, I am a BIG one. Im 47 kgs and still tries to sit on my mum's lap while she's working. I am a Staffy and Doberman cross hence my staffy face and Doberman chest. I am a 2 year old boy who is full of love and affection to all my work colleagues and enjoys working alongside them. I love the attention I get when I arrive, everyone's frown turns upside down. The day goes from office day to Harlow day! I am a very well behaved boy when I'm visiting the office, I sit beside my mum and her colleagues entertaining myself. I will sleep, play with toys, solve my puzzles or enjoy a massage from the ladies with long nails. I am an independent and a calm boy which allows mum to get her work done efficiently. I am well socialised in the office environment and enjoy every moment. I even get invited to the work meetings hehe. My favourite part of the office days is showing off my tricks and getting treats for my obedience. I enjoy showing off my loud deep woofs, playing dead, and shaking multiple people's hands. I am the most excellent guard dog and even started protecting the workplace from contractors maintaining the building, I guess the office is my second home. I have become a mascot at Rentokil and well known for my loyalty, obedience, friendliness, confidence and calm presence. I even have my own Rentokil Initial bandana I wear when I visit. This is what one of my colleagues said about me"Harlow is a beloved addition to our team on our company Bring Your Dog To Work days. He is popular amongst the office for being friendly and well-behaved. Even with my fear of dogs, I am comfortable in his presence and look forward to his visits. Harlow is the fur-baby to Tina, who has done an exceptional job training and socialising him. " - Zana. I'm so glad that I am able to help my colleagues try to overcome their fears and make their days better. It makes me a happy boy that I am able to change the negative perceptions about bull breeds/Dobermans. Please think about judging us before you assume. We have suffered the most due to stereotypes, it's not our true nature but how we are raised. My mum wouldn't want me any other way. I'm only a portion of my Mum's life but she reminds me that I make it whole. Don't forget to chase sunsets not tails.Go and follow my instagram @adventureswithharlow__and please vote for me xoxo !!! Have a wooftastic day!!!
