Meet Hazel
Breed: Beardie Collie
Barking from: Cromwell
What's up dog?
Hazel is 9 years and has worked with me since 12 weeks oldfirstin Aucklandand for the past 6 years in Central Otago. It was hard relocating my life and business to the other end of Nz and walking away from both our families and an amazing work clientele.
Hazelhas beena great support to me and an ice breaker in my new home based salon. I had to start again in a new location after 18 years working up north. Shewaits at the gate and greets every owner and dog on arrival and also walks them out after their makeover. With the dogs she considers her friends theres even time for a play in the garden before the next one arrives. I can tell what a first groom puppy is going to be like from Hazels interaction with them. Some she wants to play with others not so much its always an indication on their temperament . That pup she met and then promptly hid round the corner of the house peeking outI’m forever grateful they were only dropping off their older dog for a groom cause a year on she still won’t go near Basil who thankfully doesn’t need haircuts.
She is the ambassador of my grooming facebook Hound Dog Hairdesign and I use her as my example when showing owners their dogs sore ear or foot and Hazels healthy ones . Check out my grooming facebook she is the most photogenic dog on there though I may be totally biased lol .Hazel is at her happiest on work days and loves been part ofher and my dog grooming business even if she does hide whenever I suggest giving her a bath.
