Meet Maeve
Breed: Border Collie
Barking from: Tasman
What's up dog?
Maeve, our beloved office therapy dog, has become an integral part of our workplace, joining us at least once a week. Her presence brings immeasurable joy to both staff and visitors, earning her a special place as the office's unofficial morale booster.
Her role goes beyond simply being a friendly face; Maeve's main job is to greet visitors with a warm welcome and to brighten the day of our drivers. She makes it a point to bring her toys to those who have had a long day, lifting their spirits and offering a moment of happiness. Many of our drivers have shared how Maeve makes their day better, with some even referring to her as their "best friend." Her energy and enthusiasm are infectious, and her playful antics never fail to put a smile on everyone's face.
Maeve's impact is particularly meaningful given the challenging journey she has faced. Two years ago, Maeve suffered a severe health scare that nearly cost her life. It was a colleague from our office who stepped in to help, playing a crucial role in her recovery. Knowing that Maeve's presence today is partly due to the support and care from our team makes her role in the office even more special.
Maeve’s ability to bring joy and improve morale is a testament to the power of companionship and the positive influence animals can have in the workplace. Whether it’s through a playful game or a simple pat, Maeve continues to be a source of happiness and a reminder of the kindness and care within our office.
