Meet Angelina
Breed: Auckland
Barking from: Events And Greyhound Advocacy
Job Title: Greyhound
What's up dog?
I am the events coordinator for Greyhounds As Pets and as part of my job, Angelina goes along to every single event that we have here in Auckland and most of the events in the Waikato area. While a lot of working dogs do jobs that have to do mostly with people, Angelinas mahi is all about her fellow greyhounds. NZ has around five hundred greyhounds at any given time looking for homes, however most people have either never met a greyhound and/or have only learned misinformation about them. Enter Angelina. She is gentle and cuddly to adults and children alike and through her friendly and out going nature at events (or really anytime I take her anywhere) she helps me educate people about why greyhounds make great pets and are deserving of homes. She has been on tv, featured in write ups about greyhounds, and has helped many many people fall in love with her breed and convinced them to #adoptnotshop.
