Meet Rosie
Breed: Cavoodle
Barking from: Auckland
What's up dog?
Rosie attends my office, Programmed Facility Management, in Henderson. She comes in every day, everyone jokes she should have her own high viz and swipe card, and be on payroll. She is essentially the company mascot. During the day she runs around and greets everyone for a pat and a cuddle- she is a great companion for mental health support. Rosie knows who is going to feed her, some of her colleagues bring extra lunch just for her. One time she was given several pieces of KFC as a part of shared lunch, which made her look like a snake that swallowed a bowling ball.
Rosie often crashes corporate meetings and ends up the centre of attention during international Teams calls. She brightens everyone's day. Her colleagues mention that they miss her when she's not there, and I get Teams messages asking when she will be in next. Staff bring their kids in just to meet Rosie- and of course she loves this. She has a duck and tennis ball that she runs around the office with, strategically leaving at people's feet to play. Rosie is the perfect office companion. And she rides a motorbike. But that's another story.
