What's up dog?
When my dog comes into the office, he makes it a point to greet everyone before returning to me. He knows his way around and has his favorite spots and people. One of his quirks is hiding treats in the couches in my boss's office, a habit that never fails to amuse the team. The only thing on his agenda is figuring out how we (the staff) plan to deal with his ripped-up, deconstructed toys.
His purpose goes beyond just being a pet; he's a furry ambassador of joy and relaxation. During that afternoon slump, when everyone feels a bit over their day, he instinctively knows how to lift spirits, whether through a gentle nudge for a pat or simply being there as a comforting presence.
His reach extends to everyone in the office, from the rangatahi (youth) to the kaumÄtua (elderly) and his visits have become a much-anticipated part of the day. His impact is significant; he boosts staff morale, fosters a more relaxed and joyful atmosphere, and helps reduce stress levels. His daily visits have become a highlight for the team, turning ordinary workdays into something a bit more extraordinary and special.
