As a HR Advisor, you will be responsible for delivering prompt and reliable generalist support in People and Culture Business Partnering, offering guidance to managers and staff. This role also supports ongoing improvements to enhance self-service tools, empowering employees and managers to effectively handle routine matters related to the employee life cycle. Must have experience with TRIM and Mercer is preferred.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide timely and accurate first-level support on People and Culture matters, assist with case management (e.g. secondments, flexible work), and conduct research for complex issues in line with policies, procedures, and legislation.
  • Contribute to the development of a self-service culture by creating and maintaining user-friendly tools, guides, and resources for employees and managers.
  • Deliver administrative and project support including preparation of key documents (e.g. memos, reports, agendas), updating position descriptions, conducting job evaluations, and supporting People and Culture initiatives.
  • Maintain data accuracy and compliance by managing records and systems (e.g. HRIS, LMS, TRIM), and assist in reviewing and updating policies and procedures in collaboration with the People and Culture team.
Skills and Experience:
  • Possess a tertiary qualification in Human Resources, with proven ability to interpret and apply relevant legislation, policies, and procedures in a practical workplace context.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills, with the ability to work collaboratively, maintain confidentiality, and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Bring experience in using HR information systems and other digital tools (e.g.TRIM, Mercer, Excel, PowerPoint, LMS), with sound computer literacy and attention to detail in written and verbal communication.
  • Thrive in high-volume, results-driven environments, applying sound judgement and problem-solving skills, while upholding principles of Equal Employment Opportunity, Work Health and Safety, and Cultural Diversity.
