Junior/ Mid Interior Designer - Technical
The studio are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior/Mid Interior Designer to join the team. This role is focused on the technical development of interior design projects, supporting senior team members from concept design through to full construction documentation. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in technical drawing, strong organisational skills, and a desire to grow within a collaborative, fast-paced studio environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing concept and schematic design drawings.
- Develop detailed construction documents including plans, elevations, sections, and joinery details.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants to ensure design intent is maintained through documentation.
- Support the project team with schedules, drawing packages, and technical specifications.
- Participate in drawing reviews, redlining, and revision processes.
- Maintain project documentation standards and contribute to efficient workflows.
- Previous experience within a Design Studio
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit is essential.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop) and MS Office.
- Strong understanding of construction detailing and documentation processes.
- Knowledge of hospitality or high-end residential design is a plus.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
