Marketing & Sales Analyst

About the Role:
Our client Samsung Electronics Australia is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Market and Sales Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing market, competitor and industry trends, and will play a critical role in analysing sales data to identify opportunities that support decision-making.

This role requires a strong understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights that support business objectives. This role requires the candidate to work in the office 4 days a week with 1 day work from home.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Analyse competitive landscapes, including competitor strategies, market share, and product offerings.
Analyse sales performance data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
Develop and maintain market reports, forecasts, and dashboards to inform strategic planning and decision-making.
Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets.
Collaborate with Sales and Category teams to provide insights that enhance sales strategies and customer engagement.
Provide actionable recommendations to improve sales efficiency, conversion rates, and customer retention.
Support other duties including ad hoc reporting

About You:

3+ years experience in roles related to sales or market-based data analysis within the technology, consumer electronics industry or similar.
Track record working with complex data sets and providing recommendations that result in positive business outcomes
Advanced proficiency in Excel and ideally with other data analysis tools (e.g. SQL, PowerQuery)
Is capable of working in a fast paced and dynamic environment
