Patent Assistant Role

Salary up to $90k package

THE ROLE
You can expect to work within a busy and fast paced team with a focus on Filing Patent Administration. Reporting to a team leader, you will be working within a team of patent assistants where you can expect to be involved in the following tasks and duties:

• Reporting and invoicing of patent and design applications
• Updating the IP database to reflect the status of each patent or design
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders in relation to applications
• Implementing instructions and processes from clients, agents and Attorneys,
• Providing legal assistance to the team on large projects;
• Drafting correspondence including letters and emails, and other administrative tasks.

ABOUT YOU

Our client is not extending this opportunity to Students or those without unrestricted working rights

To be considered for the role, you will be a diligent and motivated individual with a minimum of 2 years administration or clerical experience in a corporate setting.

Experience within a law firm, and within IP, is desireable but not essential.

High level of attention to detail with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks while maintaining quality.
