Join this stable, supportive team during one of their busiest periods in the critical role of HR Coordinator. Work closely with HRBP’s and Chief People Officer with day to day HR activities like reporting, recruitment, employee record compliance and managing team HR Inbox.
The Role:
- Recruitment & Onboarding Support: Manage end-to-end recruitment tasks such as job postings, interview coordination, contract preparation, background checks, and responding to recruitment inquiries.
- HR Administration & Compliance: Prepare HR documentation and correspondence, maintain accurate employee records, ensure compliance with Fair Work legislation, Modern Awards, and internal policies, while handling sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Employee Engagement & Recognition: Coordinate employee recognition initiatives, including platforms like REAP and service awards, and support employee communication and engagement efforts.
- Learning & Development Coordination: Assist in planning and organising training and development activities, and contribute to improving HR systems and internal resources such as the People & Culture SharePoint site.
- HR Support & Continuous Improvement: Provide first-level HR support via email inbox management, balance administrative duties with proactive support, stay informed on employment law changes, and help enhance HR processes in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
What you can bring to the role: Your Skills and Expertise:
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or Business Administration with proven experience in a similar HR support or coordination role.
- Awareness of Australian employment laws, HR policies and best practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and SharePoint, with strong organisational abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the discretion to manage confidential information and build positive working relationships across all levels.
