Based in central Auckland, this firm offers a professional, collaborative environment with a strong focus on quality, innovation, and service delivery.

As the business continues to grow, they are looking for an experienced and proactive Legal Secretary to provide critical support to several senior leaders within their Commercial team.

Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
This is a permanent, full-time role supporting multiple senior stakeholders across different teams. The position requires someone who is confident working independently, has strong attention to detail, and enjoys delivering efficient, professional support in a busy environment.

Your responsibilities will be varied and involve calendar and inbox management, document coordination, travel arrangements, billing, and CRM upkeep. The role is broad and autonomous, offering a valuable opportunity to work closely with respected legal professionals.

Ngā kawenga | Key Responsibilities
  • End-to-end support for partners and senior lawyers across multiple teams
  • Diary and inbox management, meeting coordination, and travel bookings
  • High-volume billing, particularly during month-end cycles
  • Document preparation and formatting
  • Contact and client management using internal CRM systems
  • Liaison with internal business services (e.g. finance, document production)
  • Coordination of internal team events and support requirements

  • Proven experience in an administrative, secretarial, or coordination role—ideally within legal, professional services, or a corporate environment
  • High levels of organisation, accuracy, and discretion

  • A proactive and personable approach to stakeholder support
  • Professional communication skills and the ability to manage competing demands
  • Interest in process improvement and the use of technology in support roles
