Shipping Coordinator / Administrator
This role is on-site 5 days per week in the South London based office, so please only apply if you're able to commit to this (access to location on Northern Line and tram).
Do you have expertise in both imports and exports? Do you have a strong grasp of international trade regulations, documentation, and processes? If so, this could be a great role for you!
Key responsibilities:
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Handling all aspects of import/export documentation and adherence to current legislation
- Liaise with the sales teams and logistics providers
- Prepare, review and process shipping documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with customs regulations and industry standards
- Track shipments to ensure timely deliveries
- Generate and manage documents such as invoices, bills etc
Key skills needed:
- Strong experience in shipping (including understanding of customs regulations)
- Familiarity with shipping terminology and industry standards.
- Strong commercial awareness with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage workloads effectively and meet critical deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills,
- A collaborative and adaptable approach, thriving in a dynamic and supportive team environment.
- A hazardous goods certificate would be advantageous but is not essential.
- The successful applicant will be detail-oriented to ensure smooth and compliant shipping operations.

Salary available is £27,000 - £30,000p/a DOE and the company also offers a discretionary annual performance-based bonus.
